Dreamy Pittsburgh Wedding At The Pump House | Lillian & Justin

Lillian & Justin’s wedding was just like them: beautiful and thoughtful. From the flow of the day at their gorgeous industrial wedding venue in Pittsburgh to the custom piñatas Justin made, there was so much love and fun throughout the whole day!

While they didn’t have a specific connection to the space, Lillian & Justin’s industrial wedding venue choice of The Pump House made total sense. It’s historical, beautiful, and perfect for their eclectic taste. Inside the venue has the beautiful exposed brick, arched windows, high ceilings, and really is so beautiful all on its own. To enhance the natural beauty of the space, they had a great team of vendors including The Bearded Iris and EF Lightning to add florals and lighting throughout.

They used the inside space for the ceremony and dancing, and did dinner tented outside. It felt really cool to have the guests flow from space to space and enjoy the evening air as the sun set. They had a circular ceremony set-up for their self-uniting marriage which was really unique and cool. There were also a lot of little kids at their wedding and this venue is extremely family friendly. At different points we saw the kids enjoying the grassy grounds before the fence that borders the water!

Lillian & Justin made the great choice for sunset photos at the Labyrinth which is very close, just a little bit of a walk from the venue, and it was absolutely magical! It was so great to have such a beautiful location to capture their wedding style. Lillian’s dress was a literal work of art - she looked like a true princess - and Justin also had such a cool suit.

We love that they really were so intentional about how they wanted their day to go and so many beautiful and thoughtful details. The signage for the table numbers came from a childhood book Lillian loved, and Justin found a way to print and use them. Lillian’s parents have passed, but they were involved in this special day in other ways like Lillian’s mother’s handwriting from Lillian’s parent’s wedding invitations was turned into a font that was used for Lillian & Justin’s invitations. Justin also made piñatas and they were SO much fun!! We could go on and on about all the little things that these lovebirds did to make their wedding day so special!

Lillian and Justin's love for each other is so true and shining and it was truly such a privilege for us to get to be with them and see their love shine in this most beautiful way.
