Irons Mill Farmstead Weddings and Events is not like any other rustic barn wedding venue. There’s an air of elegance with its arched tall ceiling with exposed beams and a beautiful chandelier. The large window on one end lets in so much natural light making it a dream to photograph in there. The chandeliers and twinkle lights that are already a part of the venue make the space feel decorated and complete all on its own. We especially love having strings of twinkle lights like that for reception dance photos - they look awesome with the shutter drag photos we love to do! All the little details work together to elevate the space beyond any ordinary barn. 

There’s a bridal suite for getting ready, and it’s a beautiful, well-lit space. One of my favorite images from our last wedding here is the bride and her bridesmaids peeking out of the windows overlooking the ceremony space before it got started. I loved that she could see and not be seen in that special moment!

Along with its wonderful barn, this Pittsburgh wedding venue has gorgeous grounds. You can find great backdrops for photos anywhere, and if you’re up for a little walking, you’ll find endless options for romantic couples portraits! 

Even without a long walk across the grounds, you can’t miss the beautiful outdoor ceremony space. It’s spacious enough for plenty of guests while still creating an intimate feel. The long wooden benches complement the wedding arch, begging to be covered in a floral installation. 

On top of everything else, the venue coordinators we’ve worked with at this rustic barn wedding venue were SO fantastic. They truly went above and beyond and took care of everything for our couple. It was really a pleasure to work at this venue both because of its beauty and thoughtful spaces as well as the staff there.
