Magical Pittsburgh Wedding Venue | Succop Nature Park
Succop Nature Park is a breathtaking Pittsburgh wedding venue we absolutely love. From the charming getting ready house to the grounds with a pond and picturesque willow tree, you’ll definitely feel the romance. It’s like you’ve stepped into Pride & Prejudice! There are so many spots for romantic wedding portraits and lots of options for people to gather and enjoy the day bathed in beauty!
The venue itself is very easy to get to. Once you are here, everything is super accessible and close to each other. There is lots of parking, but you can arrange for shuttle services through a third party if needed for your guests.
There are a couple of perfect options for ceremony spaces at this Pittsburgh wedding venue. Just outside the house is an arbor and it’s a lovely and quaint spot for an intimate ceremony. You can also set up chairs in front of the willow tree by the pond, transporting you to a different world while you say “I do.”
After the ceremony, you’ll make your way to the large reception space. It’s a big, open pavilion, so guests can easily move freely. The fresh air can flow through while still having shade and cover. This is also great for when there are little kids at the wedding, as they can be free to wander about.
A wonderful thing about this Pittsburgh wedding venue is that each wedding can be so unique to the couple, while maintaining the charm of Succop. It really can be a blank slate space in the sense that your decor and set up can really make it fully yours. You can really see this from some of the weddings we’ve done there so far.
The florals for Mehrgol and Jasper’s wedding by Kaitlyn of Steel City florals were out of this world! She really helped them create the perfect backdrop they wanted for their day to feel like Persian Bridgerton.
Luke popped in to see Fran while she got ready as they had a bit more of a chill, laid back atmosphere during their day. It was easy for Luke to come and go between the two sides of the getting ready house. And we love their first look photos in the courtyard!
Sarah and Kyle did not want to see each other before the ceremony, but he wrote her notes every hour for her to read. She made and recorded an album she sent over to his side to surprise him which he opened and listened to. Their sunset wedding portraits are so gorgeous, too!
We love that this venue has it all: wonderful space for the couple to get ready in, multiple options for ceremony spaces, indoor and outdoor options for cocktail hour, and so many perfect places for portraits. Succop Nature Park really is gorgeous everywhere you look! The reception space is large and open and the staff at the venue are so good at making sure the wedding goes so smoothly! It really gives you something different from the many other barn and rustic style Pittsburgh wedding venues.
